I have an old pair of Columbia gloves in a women's small, so I bought these in XS since it's men's sizing. Glad I did, because they are still a bit bigger than my original pair. I would consider these to be "liners" and would not recommend them for sub-zero temperatures. But they are perfect for the shoulder seasons or for activities like running where you warm up quickly.

I like tight gloves so I can wear them for activities such as driving, and not be clumsy. The fingers are a good fit, but the wrist is so tight, I can barely put them on and off. Guess that's what I get for getting XS, but I bought that before, and the wrist wasn't so tight.

A: Great question! The 92% polyester / 8% elastane fleece exterior material does not include waterproof protection. Best designed and suited for dry winter conditions. Hope this helps,
