I get the XL size, as I wear women's size P. I'd say it was a bit big, but the waist adjustment made it PERFECT! Very comfortable, beautiful and excellent. I really recommend it for those who want to use it in the snow, for skiing, snowboarding... Columbia has excellent quality things! I love it

Q: How do you know what size to get? Does the size chart depict the starting sizes? Than from there the arms and legs will expand another 1.5"?

A: Great question! We do have an available sizing guide that breaks down the measurements of each size, that would be before the outgrow system is utilized. The outgrow system allows the legs to be lengthened for extended life of the product as a kid grows.
