Given the hype surrounding this product and its classification as a “ gold standard” heat reflection, I am disappointed in what it actually does. Similar Columbia product with regular heat reflecting but with different insulation ( not down) so much better and are typically cheaper.
Product overrated, and now as warm as advertised.

I found this product overrated. Reading how it is being promoted, I expected much more from this product - especially given this so cold “ gold standard” . I tested it in 30 F windy condition and I would be hardly press to see there is any difference in terms of heat between this product and other much cheaper. I was down right cold wearing this jacket and ended up returning it right away. I am disappointed. Another issue how bulky and stuffed this jacket feels. I don’t know if this is something that changes after washing and how many times it needs to be washed before those feelings go away. In all honesty I am quite disappointed with this product especially given its price.
