comfy but not a serious cold-weather boot

Purchased these for my daughter for a cold weather trip. The boots were fairly comfortable, but not very well insulated and in no way would be adequate for a 0 degree winter trek, even with thick wool socks. They may be okay for a winter commute or a walk into the office during the winter, but this is not a serious cold-weather boot. Expected more for the price.

I bought this boots size 10 which is my size. The boots are very comfortable and safe to walk thru the snow. I have no issues bending my foot as they ate very comfortable. I wear them for eork im all day on my feet. I will buy again. Great boots from Columbia.

Fantastic boot but a little too short

I bought this boot for the purposes of it being waterproof and has zippers. Columbia is a premium brand and lives up to the reputation of being reliable! They are waterproof, which makes them warm! I wore them in the last snowstorm here in Brooklyn and they kept my feet warm and dry! However, they need to make them with a taller shaft! I had to be very careful in deep snow or else the snow will get into the boots. I have a narrow ankle area and a medium with foot. I had to size up to a 6 1/2 because they were small. I like the narrowness because it fits me well however someone else may have a problem entering their foot into the boot even with the zippers. Columbia, I hope you’re listening. Please make these same boots taller next year and I’ll buy them in different colors.
