As many of the reviews have mentioned, this jacket runs larger than normal sizes - I wish I would have ordered a size smaller than my usual. With that being said, it is warmer than the weight feels like at first - I have been impressed with it, even in very windy conditions, my first week or so wearing it. We will see how it holds up to a full winter in the Upper Midwest!

A: Great question! While both versions are very comparable in terms of the maximum warmth rating and technology used, we do strive to update materials and review design opportunities between production years. This II style is primarily our most up to date, and highly recommend for Winter use!
