The perfect ski base layer

I purchased this product as a base layer for skiing. I was skeptical of the Omniheat reflective dots being a marketing gimmick so I tested it back to back with my lululemon runswiftly top. I noticed a huge difference - the Omniheat was significantly warmer! Plus I have worn it 40 times over 2 years and it still looks brand new (note I line dry my clothes). It’s very stretchy and smooth and I can get multiple wears before it requires washing. I have purchased a second top and I can’t recommend this product enough as an ideal base layer for outdoor activities in the cold.

Warm but not comfortable for skiing

I bought the Women's Omni-Heat™ Infinity Baselayer Crew and Leggings in purple. While I am in love with design, the gold Omni-heat material is a far cry from the comfort of the original, silver Omni-Heat™ Reflective technology. Like other reviews I recently read, I also felt like the Omni-heat material was ripping as I was sliding it over my skin when I put it on; it honestly felt like tiny bubble wrap plastic on my skin, and I didn't like it. I tried out the set while snow skiing to test its comfort and warmth. While I found that the base layers kept me warm, the material was uncomfortably sticking to my skin, especially when I road the chair lift. This never happened with the silver Omni-heat technology base layer clothes I have. In terms of size and fit, the top was a bit small in the arms and chest, even with sizing up; since I sized up, the sleeves were pretty long and I had to roll them. The bottoms fit pretty well, but I wish there was a better waist band that fit tighter. Overall, I recommend sticking with the silver Omni-heat base layers, as they are more comfortable than this.
